Good value on membership

I was looking for a good deal on media production classes and decided to get a community media membership first to save some money. The discount on the video editing workshop was pretty substantial, definitely made the membership worth it. I ended up saving a decent amount compared to taking the class without being a member. Felt like a smart purchase overall.

Solid experience, minor hiccup

I took a documentary filmmaking course last month and thought it was really well put together. The instructors were knowledgeable, and the facilities for the video editing workshops were excellent. My only small issue was that the initial registration process online was a little clunky; it took a couple of tries to get it to go through. But once that was done, everything else, from the course content to the customer service I received when I called about a follow-up question, was smooth. I'd definitely consider another course or even a podcast studio session.

Loved the cinematography workshop!

Oh my goodness, I just finished the cinematography workshop at DCTV and it was fantastic! The instructors were so passionate and really knew their stuff. I learned so much about camera equipment rentals and shot composition, it was super hands-on. I'm already looking at their other digital media training courses and planning to sign up for another one soon. I can't wait to go back, this place is a gem!

Took a screenwriting class

I signed up for a screenwriting class there a few weeks ago. It was pretty cool. The instructor was nice and gave good feedback on our scripts. Made some new friends in the class too, which was a bonus. The location is easy to get to. I might try one of their video journalism training classes next.

Consistent quality, great resource

I've been using DCTV's facilities for years now, mostly for studio space hire and post-production suites. This last time, I rented the green screen studio for a project. Just like always, everything was set up perfectly, and the staff was helpful with a quick question I had about the lighting equipment rentals. It's why I keep coming back; I know I can rely on them.
